The details always will matter. It is the little things that make the difference. Chop Suey, a new Chinese restaurant & delivery located in the Beach Park Plaza mall in Jumeirah, knows this and incorporates it as part of it’s service. It isn’t a novel concept (tearing off your order sheet), but one that is appreciated. It says to me, ‘your order is important to us and we don’t want to get it wrong.’
So, what did we eat here. Ask us what we didn’t order! The food is something that we recommend trying, if you live in the Jumeirah (2) area and are looking to try out a new Chinese restaurant. Although, Chop Suey is hoping to bring in more sit in orders, their take out seems to be doing okay. Considering they have opened their doors only about a month ago, that’s not too bad.
This laid-back establishment was inspired by the Chinese food culture prevalent in California where co-founder Dina Spahi-Rifai resided for some time. The restaurant offers a place where families and friends can enjoy their food either in a casual, relaxing setting in the restaurant or at home, serving authentic family favourites including delicious Chop Suey, crispy shredded duck and Sweet & Sour chicken.
We totally vote for the Crispy Shredded Duck.
Chop Suey’s Chinese chefs also promise to offer a healthier take on traditional Chinese food. Meals will be made with only the freshest of ingredients, low sodium products and strictly no MSG.
I was gorging on the Spicy Szechuan Seaweed Salad and I totally recommend it to the ones who like their food tangy and a little spicy. It was just YUM!
And then of course, the Singaporean Noodles (recommended to us by the Chef) and the Prawn dumplings – steamed.
Chop Suey is located at Beach Park Plaza, opposite Jumeirah Beach Park, on the ground level (right across from the big Iraqi restaurant).
It is open for dine-in, delivery and take-out – we assume in the Jumeriah area for take out. Call the number below to order now !
